Catweazle
Youngie i'm thinking you need to get an illustrated shooting book published, could be a best seller. All the best with your new venture. Perhaps a kids book ? "My First Big Book Of Guns" or "Fun With Pheasant Colouring Book " ?

Catweazle
Hi Youngie, You seem to have a gift for illustrating concepts in laymans terms, I must say I've already learned a lot from this thread and I'm sure my shooting will improve as a result. Could you help me to better understand the Coriolis effect ? I know the equations are simple: but I confess I find it difficult to do them in my head whilst in the field. I'm sure you could illustrate it in a way I can understand, to enable me to take those longer shots that I now have to pass up. Many thanks. CW. Catweazle
Thanks Youngie, that's cleared the problem up for me. I had previously been trying to use conventional ballistic calculations, now I see that Pythagoras theorem is the answer. Many thanks. CW.
