steve_b_wales
Here's a video clip from Sporting Gun magazine on how to make bin bag decoys. They may be worth a try. http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/videos/crow-decoying-37267

Frenchieboy
Well spotted Steve! Sometimes the simplest of ideas are the best. These look so much like the old "Texas Rag Decoy" but with a slightly more modern twist - Using Disposable Black Bin Bags"! I will certainly be trying these as it means that for people who are like me and like to travel as lightly as possible I could carry a couple of dozen in my game bag with practically no extra weight at all to weigh me down or slow me up - And of course they would cost nothing more than a couple of coppers to replace/add to! demonwolf444
I saw a video of some south Africans using milk bottles as pigeon decoys and they seemed to work okay.. I know my first crow decoys were just socks stuffed with newspaper molded to a rough shape
welshwarrior
My first decoys for pigeons where painted milk bottles they worked ok quite heavy and broke a few but pigeons can in to them. It the tech revolution as kid a game boy was amazing 30 odd years later my 2 year old uses and ipad. Milk bottles to the modern magnets flappers floaters lofter silo socks, and fuds. mick miller
So its you thats leaving them around.... Lol Only with the poop in, usually I discreetly hang them from the nearest bush. I wonder who it is that collects them all and disposes of them? I guess it must be the council.
