Well, they won't at your tender age, but believe me, if you keep using them, you WILL have problems as you get older. Cat.

henry d
C - didn`t mean your shoulder, he means after using a lot of heavy cartridges you will tend to flinch and pull off line/close your eyes etc. which will be a nightmare to correct. luckytrigger
I use 28g rottie no 7's (uk 6 I/2) and find them excellent for crows and pidgeons. never needed to go heavier.
starlight32
I have been using the Rottweil 36g in 5's, my local gun shop was selling their batch off at a knockdown price price so I bought the lot. Found them ok especially through the Auto, give a nice punch on roost shooting too. I have just found a load of 50g Buffaloes that I have in AAA, I suppose I'd better use them them up too(!) It would be interesting if anyone out there uses anything unusual cartridge wise, remember it is everyone to his own in this game. Personally I normally never use less than 32g, first choice being victory starlights. I use these as my first option as they are the only cartridge which performed for me like the old winchester western's which they stopped making. It seems more people are using more lower size loads than ever, choosing to buy a higher quality cartridge in 28g. I have used a quantity of 28g gamebore black gold target loads and found them to be reasonably good in the field. There is a down side though- a superior 28g often costs a lot more than a conventional game load, so most people will choose the bigger of the two thinking they will increase their hit rate. I anticipate a few mixed opinions on this one!!!!
hawkeye
I have used these Rottweil 36 gram 8's for nearly 2 years in my auto shoot crows and pigeons no problem. even though they are 36 gram 8's that is a German 8 which i have been told is the equivelent to English size 7. Gilsan sports in Richmond used to stock them £86 per 1000 But last time i spoke to him he said he could not get any more.......

All I can thro' use is that I wouldn't really recommend them for pigeon if you want to eat them afterwards However for crows they are certainly ideal using a semi-auto Don

the hitman
I have used plenty rottweil 32g no7 , they are superb on pigeons. Never tried 36g 8s before they might be a bit heavy for decoying , but would make a cracking sporting shell.
