rich1985
I had a black widow as a lad, got very good with it in fact, shot a lot of rats with it using metal ball bearings! Recommend on of these!
darren 67
Take a look at gamekeeper catapults on YouTube. Think he has a web site or sells them on an auction site.
Les*1066
For a cheap option, the Black Widow is hard to beat. Gamekeeper's are good, but pricey. Whichever one you choose, fit a set of Theraband Gold power bands. Check out 'the slingshot channel' on YouTube - Joerg is a total nutter, but very entertaining! (I can't post a link because of YouTubes stupid new rules ) Edited July 9, 2014 by Les*1066

GingerCat
For less than a tenner the black widow takes some beating. Coke cans at 20 yards are quite easy once you get your eye in. Ball bearings make all the difference, stones are. never quite as accurate no matter what you do. The pro Diablo is ok but you miss some of the speed and fun of using it once you go there. newarcher
I remember as a boy we used to go to the local ironmongers for the elastic, 2 of us would club together for a yard , the guy behind the counter always used to say ,would you lads like it stretched or unstreched
marsh man
When I was a boy we always made our own the elastic we used was 3/16th the 1/4inch was a bit to strong to pull back to far, the pouch was made from a tongue from a shoe and the stones were normally out of some ones driveway, as I got better with it I went to the next stage and cut lead up into small pieces and used it liked shot, at the time Starlings were on the list and I did manage to hit a few, where the lead came from I cant remember even if I could I am not telling you in case the vicar is still alive..........no I am only joking..
