Imperfection
I havent had to do it myself, but im told heating the die can sometimes release the case with a bit of effort. Did you forget to lube it?

rem708
The above video is how I would do it with just a few changes. Firstly if this is a bottle case then the neck sizing button won't allow the removal of the decapping pin. You should be able to back it out enough to get it out of the way. M5 is not a very common thread in the UK so I would use a M6. Don't be tempted to use WD40 - its not a lubricant although it is slippery. The place where cases stick in on the bottom near the rim. This is pretty much the only place you need lube when resizing although the inside of the neck is rather desirable. Out of interest -- what size case is it? Looks like a Lee die! Cannon
If it comes to it a good set of vice grips stuck on tightly should do the trick. Pliers are pretty much useless and risk damaging the die
spandit
Can you not remove the decapping bit & tap it out from the top?
rem708
If a bottle case then the neck is solidly in the sizer part of the die. The resizing button will not pull out the top period!
ditchman
unscrew the primer ejector pin........cut off as much case as you can with junior hacksaw.....then use suitable size stud extractor
Dougy
Use a pipe cutter to cut the case, unscrew ghe decapper as far as you can, pull hard on the threaded bar and you may unscrew from the expander. Drill and tap using m6 as suggested get a nut that is big enough to go over the die, try a 22mm brass compression joint, a washer (stout thick one) And follow the video as you go. Underdog
Put the die in the press upside down with the de capper nut removed. Use something soild on top of the ram and work it out. When out cut the case to extract the de capper.

spandit
Exactly the same thing happened to me tonight. Ended up cutting the neck of the case off, once it was free from the main die body
