yickdaz
Neither would I but travelling miles to get paid a pittance is a futile exercise. I take between 150 and 250 each time I go so my fuel is easily covered and have cartridges to shoot at them again, or a small profit so its not futile to me

Harnser
I think that we are all being asked to bend over by the game dealers . Fresh woodland pigeon for sale in a well known supermarket at £3. 50 each . The price for pigeons have not changed for many years . The game dealer is my last resort as I would rather give them away and eat them myself . Harnser
colin lad
from the retailers point of view we buy our pigeon dressed from the game dealers for £1.25 each so they are making a bob or two colin

ayrshiretaxidermy
I have heard of a few people getting 50p (honey-brook) for steel shot but haven't heard of anyone paying more would be interested to know where your sending them I don't take them anywhere. I have guys knocking the door down for steel shot woodpigeons. What I don't use myself, I sell to a friend for 50p. Earlier on in the year, just before the falcon breeding season, I was offered 80p each from a guy near Inverness, he would collect 200 if I had them. Honeybrook are giving you 50p and selling them for £1.50. Edited August 11, 2014 by ayrshiretaxidermy
