reggiegun
With the weather bad Sunday night, didn't bother go lamping. Bad mistake, got a phone at 7.00am, fox had the heads off about 12 poults outside pen. They must have got that wet and so stupid not to get back in pop holes to pen. They were found in the wheat. Anyway gave Archie-fox of the forum a ring to give Alix and myself a lift. Got down shoot about 8.00pm, Alix in corner of the pen and Rich in far corner of field, with there shotguns. I went with rifle to another field a good safe distance away. 9.10pm I hear 3 shots, one after the other, Rich has texas heart shot a fox heading towards pen. Then on way out Alix, on the rifle, we stopped at the **** pile, been a good fox spot lately, shine with amber lamp, fox there and it just legged it off. Drove up to end of the lane to turn around, and stopped to have another shine, this time with red lamp, fox there broad side, so Alix shot it, picture attached. Thanks Rich, and a good result. Roll on Friday night.

Archie-fox
was a good evening.. really stange, i was sat in the grass all covered in camo, i heard a few sounds to my right and stood as still as i could, thru the tall crops i could see the wheat moving coming towards me..i wasnt 100%sure what it was and didnt want to shoot a pheseant as thats what i thought it was at first, anyway it stuck its head a little bit too far out of the wheat..it clocked me and hit overdrive, followed by 36g AAA bowled it over at about 15 yards..first time that has ever happend to me!!! just had a text from Paul, no pheseants lost over night!!! result!!!!
