Guest cookoff013
hey, i bought some remington shells last week. to give them a go, they turned out to be made by B&P under licence. so i essentially bought fake remington shells. they were european cases, zm24 wad 1 ounce and 7,1/2 shot. very odd. will let you know if they go bang. figgy
Just shows you never know what your really getting. Unless you do your homework. Unless Remington import the same materials to make there carts in America your not getting a Remington cartridge. Figgy
fenboy
Nothing unusual in that , B&P do make some very nice cartridges. the last lot of Winchester GB cartridges I had were loaded in Italy .
kent
If its the same load who cares its an automated process (makes perfect logic to sub it out)
roughshooter
I picked up some empty remington STS steel cases as a shoot. Lovely cases - interesting that on the back of the box it said "low brass for easy resizing" . I would buy these and shoot them off to re use the cases as they will load 8 or 9 nines

figgy
They are loosing out on fowling shells to the home market this season for sure. The Versamax Semi auto seemed strange to when they sold a load off cheap. Let us know how you get on with them. Figgy
Whitebridges
Are Edgar Bros the importer for Zoli? I wanted to have a look at the Z gun but can't find a stockist around here. There is loads of advertising in the shooting press but no guns. Very odd.
fenboy
SMK (sports marketing) are the new distributors for Remington and have been for a little while now . It will give edgar brothers more time to work on Hatsan warranty repairs Nothing wrong with the Versamax , mine has been spot on so far , several 1000 cartridges without a jam now and the easiest auto I have ever had to clean. Sorry wasn't saying anything wrong with the guns but the importers at the time dumping a load on the market at knock down prices seems a bit funny. Dummy must have been right out.
