fenboy
I have a pintail smock Seems very well made and has not let in what little rain its been out in so far . Sizes are a bit on the small size so order one above your usual.
shootgun
I've got the Ridgeline Monsoon II smock, can't fault it but you might get a bit hot if stalking in it all day. Brilliant for high seat and rainy days though...

KFC
I've also got the Monsoon II smock, thanks to last years Webley shotgun offer. As has been said, if anything they are too warm. I used it for the first time last week during torrential rain. It didn't let in any rain but, because I was sweating so much, my shirt was drenched anyway. Not very breathable. I'll hang on to it for use when we get plunged into 'arctic conditions' but it is of limited use.

TIGHTCHOKE
Just dug the receipt out; I got a Ridgeline Monsoon Extreme 2 Euro OLIVE Jacket Smock for £89:95 including the dreaded VAT.
Redgum
I have the torrent 2 jacket and trousers, nice fit but buy the next size up as tend to be on the small side, maybe because they are manufactured in China, that said the quality seems to be good for the money. Certainly keeps the rain out, as for breathable, well they are to an extent but you will get wet if trudging hard on a mild day. I have come to the conclusion you have to pay a lot of money to buy something reasonably breathable. The silent flock type fabric outer shell does hold the water but spins out easily and wash's well, its a nightmare trying to get deer pins out of though. figgy
I got the mallard, thought it was mutts nuts...until it rained... Shoulders let up and I got a soaking. That's the problem I've got with a Deehunter Jacket leaks in the shoulder seams. Wasting money then if these do the same. Might as well nik wash and nik wax my deerhunter. ben0850
I've got the monsoon jacket and to be fair hasn't let me down yet, for less than 100 quid it's pretty good gear. I've paid much more for mountain clothing and had worse performance. If you truly want hurricane proof gear you will be looking at 3 layer goretex and topside of 300 quid for a jacket so I guess it's all about your budget!
