Not knocking any in particular as i do read quite a few but they seem to be covering more adverts that ever(i suppose thats good in one sence) but some of the features always seem to be about guns way beyond the average persons pocket although i do feel that they are well for learner shooters what are your opinions

I ask myself this question every time I renew my Sporting Gun subscription.

It has become very predictable, but I accept it is difficult to keep thinking of new ways, to say the same old things.

Some months I forget to read it, until the following months magazine arrives.

When they chase me up to renew, I hesitate a lot, until they offer me such a good discount, it would be irresponsible of me not to renew.

I would also add that fishing magazines are just as bad, but more expensive.

I Like the sporting gun and have a subscription, I sometimes buy the shooting times

However i was not too impressed with the new shooting mag  it made that much impression on me I cant even remember what it is called )

I cant see any reason for Bad language and the like in any magazine even though i use it myself

There wasnt any articles in it which caught my attention for more that a few seconds so it will not be getting any of my cash in future

:yp: :)

I received S/Gun on a direct debit subscription but a couple of months ago when seeing 3 copies still in their polythene wrappers un-opened i cancelled my direct debit.

By coincidence the very next day i received a letter from them saying that the subscription price was going up, so that made me think i had made the correct decision.

As others have mentioned, there is only so much one can keep writing about the same topics and with using this site i find i can get any extra tips or information i need.
