defender
Out clay shooting when all of a sudden this happened, case was ejected but the primer stayed behind and jammed the next cartridge. Got it out and found the empty case
fenboy
Thats a new one on me , you would think on firing the primer would expand slightly removing the possibility of it being dislodged .
wraivi
Does it happen often?
fruity
Never seen that before I use around a slab a week of gamebore velocity and not had a single issue
Harnser
It would seem that it was a lose fit primer . I have had it happen on home loaded pistol rounds . Was it a home loaded cartridge ? If so you Proberbly need some new cases . Harnser

sitsinhedges
No big deal. I've had that happen with a 12 gauge reload just the once and the primer ended up in the trigger housing and locked up the firing block. Cleared it and put another 10000 thru the gun without a problem. (Not on the same day though )
brett1985
hmm.. another gamebore cartridge issue.
shootinfishin
Maybe the primer hole on the hull was a bit big or the primer a bit small....I assume it fired ok
defender
Maybe the primer hole on the hull was a bit big or the primer a bit small....I assume it fired ok Fired ok, used thousands of gamebore cartridges and never had a problem before. Browning gold sporting clays been a good gun Edited September 29, 2014 by defender
Saltings
Had this a few times reloading ely cases with cx2000 primers must be a problem as Cheddite now have a primer a tiny bit bigger than the standard cx2000 if I am not mistaken they were available from clay game for reloaders, hence maybe a small size batch got mixed up going through the loading process at the factory
