So are you going to drop Fisherman Mike a nice bottle of Scotch just prior to the next Cotswold meet so you can drink it when he goes off to bed early........ Lol

Edit, better still, whilst you at it supporting your local Conversative chap with some of your winnings, I think you ( and I am sure FMike would support my view) should donate said whiskey to your conservative MP as a sort of loreal 'because you are worth it' gesture.

I applaud your action, I hope others do likewise.

Had a little tickle from the 3:15 at Cheltenham today thanks to PW's finest tipster. Was in a good mood so I dropped £500 into the bucket for the local Tory candidate. He's a real hunting, shooting and fishing man so it will be money well spent.

Nice one Mike ;)

Cheers...TB...that's a magnanimous gesture...and a smart move. Shame more people don't realise its only the Conservative party that will be able to preserve shooting and field sports in the future and protect it from non shooters who are the absolute majority.

Might have a little bit of inside info for a horse tomorrow..watch this space

Talking of FM. Do we have an update on his diet?

Going well thanks 1st 6lbs to date and on target for 14 1/2 stone by end of January. Which is the top end of my ideal range for my frame size.

To be honest as well as taking the herbal life protein I've cut out much of the **** like carbs, fat and sugar and have been drinking red wine rather than beer.

As Burl Ives sang ...... there's a hole in my bucket ...... Money could have been spent more wisely.
