fruity
Hi all Called by a farm earlier what im planning to shoot tomorrow, drove the borders of the fields to see if there was much about dropped down onto the valley where the farmer said he had seen thousands of birds ( his words ) i could not believe the amount of pigeon what lifted, never seen so many. Hopefully they will be still there in the morning they circled high and started to come back in again so fingers crossed Managed to get a couple of pics but pretty poor with the mobile pic 1 they circle high, pic 2 they start to come back into feed from where they lifted

Wish there was birds in those numbers in our area. We are struggling still. We are still seeing more Corvids than pigeons

JDog
That is very good especially if the pigeons were non local. From your picture that appears to be the case.
fruity
A fair few came in from a small flightline off a row of trees what runs alone side the old quarry and when you consider we spent all day out there Still a small bag I'll get a large bag one day

fenboy
I would be happy with that , not the easiest time of year for big bags so i recon you did well enough , good of you to take out a new shooter too
fruity
I would be happy with that , not the easiest time of year for big bags so i recon you did well enough , good of you to take out a new shooter too I have to say I was unsure at first , but he messaged couple of time and offered to meet before hand so I could check him out , with a shotgun cert being held and a fac imminent I felt reasonable confident he wasent a nutter lol It come to light I know his grandfather also so said he could come and try his new gun out

Harnser
It's not how many you shoot ,but how many opportunities you get and how you enjoyed the day . That's a very respectful bag , . Harnser
