fenboy
Looks great but personally I would like to see the ears a little more upright ( hope you dont mind a bit of constructive criticism ). The ears tend to fall back more the further down the hare crouches. But then again I cannot draw a straight line let alone produce something like that My favourite mammal . Guest iFerret2
He is real good fella but I like the ears up for a good look but out in the field I see them with their ears back when they know you are there and they start to shrink down . ears back then crotch down and then go flat if you get to close then they leg it

pbutd
Absolutely fantastic mount! Your attention to detail is typical of every good taxidermist and I know there can be no 'shortcuts'. As a matter of interest how do you go about removing the ear cartilages?I find their removal very difficult & invariably end up ripping the outer skin layer on rabbits & hares or is there a method other than gentle dissection using small ear dilators?
