steve_b_wales
Best advise I can give it don't sell your NM800 like I did and then try all diff T20s including doublers ect, then I had to go out and spend another £200 plus on a NM800 turbo and a spare neck with IR.i still use T20 now on my spotter and NV driving system for the money they are fine. Its all about the driver and pill and as Evo said there are loads on the bay that a just carp .I changed all the drivers in mine and use them on a daily basis but would never get rid of the NM that stays on the rifle. I'm not selling the NS800. I just wanted another torch with IR fitted to use with my NV equipment. I have the IR pil with the NS800 which is fitted into a spare neck, so changing from red to IR only takes a minute or two. The IR is excellent and the 'beam' goes out a hell of a long way, but I am going to keep it for use with a red pil.

billytheghillie
Okay, this is all very interesting, but what do I spend my hard earned cash on? Just want a torch to mount on rifle for bunny bashing purposes. NM800 looks favourite.

Remimax
i've had a nm800 next to ludicrous- lumens T50 Aspheric and i can't tell the difference in beam or distance. bought the torch with white led ,spare red led, and IR and scope clamp only . had loads of chargers and cells allready from dive lights. using the red at the moment which has been spot on for the foxing. they do a T67 if you want to go the extra mile. T67 seems to be sold out as soon as stock comes in so must be hitting the spot.

K-B-T
Single mode or 3 mode what do people prefer
steve_b_wales
Whatever you decide to buy, this scope/torch clamp has to be the best on the market in my opinion. Not the cheapest, but it's excellent and will allow a torch to be moved in any direction. http://clulite.cluson.co.uk/gun-light-mounts/548-a63-dual-gun-mounting-kit-25-30mm.html
Davyo
Single mode or 3 mode what do people prefer Again it's a case of buy from someone reputable as some of the cheap drivers, the 3 mode fails within weeks.
al4x
One question on this, does swapping to the x searcher head make much difference?
steve_b_wales
One question on this, does swapping to the x searcher head make much difference? The X Searcher head does make the beam throw further, but I would not pay the money for it. I bought the X Searcher torch.
