islandgun Posted December 4, 2014 Report Share Posted December 4, 2014 (common) snipe 10 inches loud creeching call when flushed and zig zag flight Jack snipe 7 inches usually doesnt call when flushed no white in tail shorter bill than common, is quicker to land into cover when flushed we get a lot up here but the common is more common!
