adi786
I've got Pigeon rotary, but the field am going now a days its a long walk plus fields are not dry now a days so walking is bit hard as well, for that reason i've been leaving my rotary in car. Do you guys recommend a flapper, heard quite few people now only uses flapper as it works much better as compared to magnet. Also if i should get a flapper which one i should go for, there are quite few models, and again heard some models has issues like wings doesn't stay on or wings direction.. adi786
is it good or skips wings, as i've heard some model of flapper doesn't work as expected, one wings up whereas other down, saw the one a1 decoys selling with a hook at the end, or will this 45 quid work perfectly? thanks
dazb1967
I've just bought one from AA decoys and works well, for £45 with the timer you can't go wrong seems to be well made , Iv'e only had it just over a week but its had a lot of use in that time and seems fine upto now. belly47
I got an AA flapper on Monday not used it yet but is the same as the A1 flapper I have used up to now, so don't foresee any problems much cheaper than A1 too

Columba Grey
Folding wheelbarrow suggested ifrom a thread in Talk. from the Firld. Haven't tried it yet but it's lightweight and seems to make good sense.
Columba Grey
Try a folding wheelbarrow. Saw it in another thread. It's lightweight and fits in the car. Haven't tried mine yet but it makes good sense to talk the weight off shoulders arms and back

NickB65
I have given up on the rotary as many use them around me and the birds are shy of them - stuck one in a field on its own for an afternoon and not a pigeon came close to it...... I use flappers as they are lighter more natural looking and with a timer and remote you can control them better. Only downside you need to have a dead bird to pop in them :-) The man or woman that makes a plastic decoy that can fit in a flapper and look realistic will sell a heck of a lot.
