Scully
Discovered a split in my Hunters the other day. Have had them about 3 seasons, something like that. So had a gander today in John Norris' but came to the conclusion that £90 is too much to pay for a pair of wellies (the most expensive they had were over £300) and as both nephew and a couple of mates (the latter of whom has had some expensive wellies in the past) swear by Muck Boots, went round to Relph's instead and bought a pair for £64 quid or thereabouts. Have just come back in and first impressions are that I should have got some years ago. Very comfortable, warm and light, and easy on and off. Konnie
I used to have the some of the quite expensive ones cannot fault them lasted ages but I also think £165 is plenty for wellies so have gone down the muck boot route and just got them today and cannot fault them. IEH
I've had my Muckboots for 3 or 4 seasons now and they're still great. The insole has broken down a bit around the back of the foot and the soles aren't very grippy, both seem common problems. My son, who works in Wellies day in and out, now buys Grubs because he finds the soles better, but I'd certainly buy them again.
