Tim Kelly
Does anyone know who makes 600 x 920 wall cabinets? I broke one today taking a boiler off the wall and want to get a replacement carcass, but it doesn't seem to be a standard size. Any ideas who made that size, or where I could find one now? loriusgarrulus
Get a 1000mm one and take some of the end.

Tim Kelly
920 tall. Would be possible to trim a 1000 one, but I can't see any that tall anywhere either. Thanks for the offer TT, but I'm in London, so not really practical.

phil123
Howdens do a 900 tall. Never heard of one that's 920 from any other manufacturer.
John_R
Tim, The unit next to my workplace does custom kitchens. No idea of the cost as some of their stuff is way upmarket. At least you know where they are though! John
timmytree
Just get the panels cut and lipped and put it together yourself. Make it a solid back in MDF so it's easier to hang. Any Kitchen/medical/dental cabinet manufacturer can do that for you.
Tim Kelly
Thanks John and others. It's frustrating because I'm sure the bloke who put the kitchen in just bought standard units from Howdens or somewhere, but they seem to be unobtainable now without custom building. pegleg31
I'm sure magnet used to do odd sized units. 900mm are a standard set size. 570mm, 720mm and 900mm are all standard unit heights.
Tim Kelly
Looked at their website and they don't have 920 units. Thanks anyway.
pegleg31
Give them a ring I think they've recently resized everything so might still have old stock. It's only a phone call and might work out
Tim Kelly
Worth a go. Thanks

team tractor
920 is 36" so is it really old? 900 is standard to suit a standard door . www.thekitchenunit.biz is me if you get really stuck
Mike737
Could you use the 900, leave a 20mm gap at the top, and either fill it, or just allow the 920 door to cover it, hanging the door so it's flush at the bottom? Mike.
loriusgarrulus
When you broke the original cabinet was it just a bit damaged or totally trashed. Could it be repaired maybe with some new panel.
Tim Kelly
A new bottom panel would do it.
