Gonna Shoot a Wabbit
Ey up pigeonwatchers, I am struggling to find any 75 grain vmax bullet heads in .243 anywhere in cheshire. Does anyone know somewhere that has some mcavoys, cheshire gunroom, branfields are all out. steve_b_wales
Henry Krank has some Sierra 75gr, but only in SP. They also have a 70gr Blitzking. I usually order from them and pay my RFD for the delivery cost, if any.
Underdog
Is stoke on trent to far? If not phone trent firearms on 01782 302937.
robbiep
If Valley Arms (Ruthin) is a reasonable distance, then I've just ordered a couple of things from them, which they will be getting from Henry Krank's. If you wanted, you could probably get on the order, as I believe they won't be finalising it with Krank's until Tuesday next week (they put a few orders together to save on the carriage). This assumes that Krank's have got the Vmax in stock, of course (though it's possible Valley might have them on the shelf)

pestcontrol1
Henry Krank don't stock Hornady bullets. They are the Sierra importers themselves Lol they are when they have some

cervusman
I have heard that Hornady have for some reason stopped making V-max, that's why they are hard to get hold of. It's a shame you are so far away as I have some I don't need.
cervusman
Hornady no longer make V-max bullets, that's why they are so hard to get. It's a shame you are so far away, as I have some I don't need.

Think you will find that it is not 'Hornady no longer make V Max bullets' but Hornady no longer make V Max bullets in certain (obscure) calibres
dicehorn
This is Hornady's current range of Vmax http://www.hornady.com/store/V-MAX-bullets/ Our problem in the UK is that (despite what we think) the USA bullet manufacturers regard the UK as a very small part of their business - hence the bullet famine. Gonna Shoot a Wabbit
Try other brands? No! :-/ I have found a load that my rifle likes with vit160 and 75g vmax that if i do my bit puts bullets damn near through the same hole at 100yds. As long as i can get the vmax i will stick with them. Hornady no longer make V-max bullets, that's why they are so hard to get. It's a shame you are so far away, as I have some I don't need. Classic pigeonwatch generosity!! thanks all the same
