Paddy Galore!
picked up around half a ton of beech logs from the wifes work place today, just wondering what I could make with them and a chainsaw? don't say mushrooms

oliver90owner
Might be match sticks or chainsaw chippings? Depends on their size, I suppose, for a start.

Paddy Galore!
well, I made a three tiered doodah to stand the wife's wotsits on, and my beer while lounging in the sun. and I've made a start on a seat. and a lot of sawdust, about half a bulk bag so far. i'll try and upload some pics. they were mostly 3ft section cross cuts from the trunk, as no one else was able to lift them I thought i'd better do the decent thing and remove them, they were about 8" thick so weighed a bit and took some work to slice them down to a more manageable 2" thick slab. after that, a few beers and some bbq'd steaks was the perfect end to a good day.
