Very nice. I wonder if that barrel aims better than my standard! Had to put a M weight on it. Watch that crown with that monstrosity on the end lol.

I will let you know later what it shoots like , I have a good selection of ammo to put through it . im not a big fan of Mods , but in some places I shoot its a must . as for barrel its 20.5"

looking nice well done i like the grain in the wood

yes , it does look quite good in the right light ,

I do love a win mag .22, lovely rifle, have fun.

I'm not sure why they ever fell out of favour, other than fashion, my HMR has a place, but the WMR outstrips it by a mile for me.

evening again ,

well I have just got in from a good practice session , the object tonight was purely to get used to the rifle / scope / and new ballistic data I downloaded last night for the scope and ammo ,

the new scope is a Hawk 4-16-50 with AMX recital , anyway I set up at 100 /200 yards and had a play , any I must say I was blown away , I love it !! at 100 yards I was getting 15mm centre to centre groups ( using CCI maxi mag Gold Dot HP ) at 200 yards I was using the little 50 mm " shoot and see " stick on targets I managed 3/5 hits the other 2 shots , one clipped the edge and the other was around 10mm off the edge ( I think that one was pure luck as I could have sworn I pulled the shot haha

then just as I fired my last shot a bunny popped out around 180 yrds I was so tempted to take the shot but .... like I said I want to have a bit more time before I take long shots on live quarry , so the old fella gets to live another day ( i'll get him tomorrow ) before I left I thought I would push it and see how just how good the data I had really was so I stuck a can of coke out at 276 yrds , have a quick look at BRC and ...... bang .... missed , had another two shots and got it , one shot hit the middle - ish and the other hit the very top lip and flipped it in the air ,

off out again tomorrow for another play and to confirm my trajectories , but all in all im over the moon with it ,

yeah me neither , not wishing to get into another debat but I too have had both , and the win-mag for me , over the years ive had some great fun with them

Very nice. That's some chunky hunk of a barrel on there, looks thicker than my .243 Varmint.

yeah shes a fat bitch ;-)

Going of that you just said I will admit to flirting one at a wretched distant crow when ever I can.

How does it shoot off hand?

to be honest I didn't try it , I was waaaay to busy playing U haha

yeah get yourself a bi-pod on it underdog and push it out to some fair ranges , I shoot my old one out to 200 yrds on crows/rooks/bunnys easy peasy
