FOXHUNTER1
Might sound like a stupid question but how long does it normally take to charge 18650 Li-ion batteries. I have a 18650 smart charger and it seems like the batteries are taking forever to charge. The light is staying red on the charger..... FalconFN
They can sometimes fail so feel them and if they are getting hot take them out and bin them as they will probably never get to 4.2v. Warm is OK but hot isn't good.

Davyo
Lots on sale .. which 18650 are of a good quality .. lm after a couple I have had loads, the only ones that I felt where good was nightmaster and torchy boy but not cheap £11 each. The other ones are cheap for a reason you will be lucky if you get 2/3 month use out of them before they start failing in the field after an hour. The nightmaster or torchy boys will last 8hrs dep on use. FalconFN
Lots on sale .. which 18650 are of a good quality .. lm after a couple Sanyo, Panasonic, Sony, LG and Samsung are all very good. Don't buy a Ultrafire/Surefire type as they can be utterly rubbish. I have loads of unprotected ex-laptop batteries from the companies listed that work brilliantly (most are 2500 ish mAh). I'd be happy to give you half a dozen if you can find a carrier but Royal Mail won't take them unfortunately.
