Still enjoying the thread. It has given me the bug to do something. I haven't got the room for a car to work on - at the moment - but fancy doing a motocrosser.

Got offered a couple of 1970s Montessa trials bikes on Sunday. Not my thing, but a mate is having a look at them - he is into Montessa scramblers.

now that my thread has more or less come to an end...i will transfere my fullest attention to "the restoration project".........you are my hero ! for anyone to start totally blind on a job such as this ...leaves me in awe......by the time we have all helped you to finish it  .....you will have so many extra skills as a result....welding...engines....bodywork...skinned knuckles...and shear bloody mindedness at not letting anything beat you......so crack on and we will continue to watch :good:

he gave me 7/10 for my valves but 10/10 for cleaning things up, so we ended up spending half hour talking about you, i couldn't explain my new talent without explaining where it all come from :good::good::good::good:

Sorry guys. Just waiting for some new parts for the engine.

Got everything out of the Garage on Sunday and gave it a good clean. Didn't think it worth taking photos of though.

And spent 3 hours cleaning tubs of nuts and bolts that have been soaking for weeks. Also didn't think worth photoing

Hoping to get my bulk head and radiator panel back soon seen as he's had it a month now. I know I rid him to do it between jobs to make it cheaper but Jesus.
