Catamong
Yes folks, Jonsey's retained the Wiltshire Ladies County Championship for the 3rd year running over a tough course today at Wylye Valley. She shot a superb 78 in a massive entry of 232 guns to romp home in style, as usual she shot very steady, didn't rush the birds, a very cool performance with no major slip ups. We're all expecting big things from you at the forthcoming English Open, (no pressure there..!!) Well shot, keep it going.!! Cat.

Jonsey
Arh hah Thank you Cat you didn't mention the 91 you put in, was very impressive to watch. Well done See all that coaching you kindly given me has paid off. I started really badly, rabbit shooting last weekend has really aggrevated my back, first 2 stands I was in serious pain and ready to pack in but 1500mg of paracetemol and I was fine and could step up my game by stand 5. Steady but dropped stupid pairs, I knew the pressure was on so I got nervous, silly me could have easily been 7 more but still I'm very happy and as we speak have a rather large gin and tonic in my hand. (actually it's number 3 gin and tonic) So I'll sign off now, in a minute I won't be able to type........ Pin, you missed some seriously good tucker today, Mrs Wylye Valley really does out do everyone on the food front. Jonsey
pin
Well done! Cracking result! Shame I couldn't make it but sounds like a good day all round, was the 91 not good enough cat??? Damn, and I missed out on top tucker, mind, I have adequate reserves to see me through I think
Cranfield
Congratulations, with an entry of 232 guns that was some achievement. I was beaten in the quarter finals (clay shooting) at the Kent County Show back in the late '60s, by a lady. Damned near scarred me for life, can't look at a clay nowadays without breaking into a cold sweat.

Damn, and I missed out on top tucker, mind, I have adequate reserves to see me through I think No, fraid not, in AA class my 91 was a ******, the worst thing was, I missed 3 Teal on my very first stand.. , and then I had to watch the lovely Jonesy straight it with ease, absolutely powdered every single one, right in the middle..!! I'm going to book some tuition with that girl..!! Cat.

Jonsey
Thanks guys. Pin, Tosspot it may surprise you to know I did it cakeless yesterday. Didn't even look longingly at them. The trouble with Mrs Wylye Valley's cakes is once you have just one piece you need to try the others because they are so delicious. I did get the shakes a little bit but I resisted. Rarrrrrrr! I am strong
Dunkield
Well shot Jonsey Could you and Cat be PW's answer to Richard and Tanya?
Catamong
Hmmm....I was thinking more Torville & Dean, but then I remembered what I always say about clay shooting, "It ain't figure skating, you don't get points for style". Jonsey
Jane Torville? Harrumph! She must have 15 years on me. I fear I may have to strike you from my Christmas card list.
