kent
True but it's in goods for sale and still leads the question why kill them without a person who is going to dress and eat them It's good they ain't being dumped- just yet that is

Alfieri
I think what Kent is trying to say is this is the second lot of geese you've advertised within a month and if your freezers still full so why would you go and shoot more without having homes for them. With this weather, they will start going green (if they haven't already) very soon and will end up wasted. If your shooting them to get people to try wild goose good on you but I would try to find homes for them before hand.
walt1980
Love to know if all the people that have commented on it maybe going to waste take EVERYTHING they shoot home to eat? Personally I've shot plenty and not taken them!
Konnie
But on another thread, it looks like he is up for helping someone else who wants to shoot geese, yet has ones he cannot get rid of, yet already planning to shoot more........... bigadam
Crack on mate better offering on here than leaving in a ditch I hope everyone eats every pigeon they shoot and every rabbit. People shoot because they enjoy it I know sea fishermen that hate fish does that make them wrong. I don't agree with waste but if people don't eat game does that mean they shouldn't shoot
-ben-
They have been de breasted. And before judging they have to be culled as they are causing damage and unless you want to pay for the damage they cause there's not really another solution I never dump stuff i shoot unless it's not edible and a pest. As for not finding homes I've got people who would usually take then but I've been unable to drop them off today and they needed to be prepared tonight at the latest really in this weather. I don't agree with waste but if people don't eat game does that mean they shouldn't shoot I have released fish I didn't want alive as well as given good fish away to members of the public who were watching. It's good practice for the sport I don't get having to shoot more than you can use rockets work as do taking just one shot at every odd skien A few live decoys down and another lot comes in. One bang one falling goose and they all get the message You know deer and boar shooters in mainland Europe do pay the landowners for the right to keep numbers of quarry up. Just saying you don't need to kill so many especially if the freezer is so full in September

Thanks Ben Theres nothing wrong with your offer mate, its just that some folk on here love to just pick holes in everything and anybody, with their "holyer than though" attitude, just for the sake of an argument or to try and make a point!!..the same people probably get picked on by their partners and dare'nt say "Boo to a goose" at home, so they come and preach on here instead of GETTING A LIFE!! JamesMoody3
I would have taken them off you Ben like the last ones, but I'm in London for a few days. -ben-
Tried rockets with little if any success. farmer is quite happy with the job I'm doing managing them they have been on his fields allot less now they have been shot and it's better me doing it than someone else who could come along and shoot far more and them end up being thrown. But if anyone is interested in there area I'm sure there will be more and it's more homes for them just send me a pm
