TIGHTCHOKE
And now Jim is in a field shooting and keeping the farmer very happy!
Jim Neal
...and now Jim is back home, almost thawed out Glad I took my fishing brolly and decided to sit with my back to that wind, although the hedge is so sparse it barely slowed it down. Went and fetched the stiff plastic load liner from the back of the car to use as a wind break between the brolly and ground. The hail storm followed by sleet & snow was not pleasant. Brrrrr!! aga man
Certainly not peas! Looks like some sort of root crop to me. These are peas at a couple of inches tall. Edited March 6, 2016 by aga man

JDog
Sorry to doubt your crop recognition belly and peas they must be. To most of us pigeon shooters and amateur agriculturalists it is unusually early for peas to be so far on. One good frost and they may be lost. Not a problem jdog, the comments had me doubting myself as you guys are far more experienced with all things shooting than me. I certainly remember eating my share last year! Freshly picked sugar snaps are gorgeous
