arm3000gt
Evening I am going to the West of England game fair on Saturday. I have never been before. Is it big? Is there anything in particular any stand/show you can recommend? I've been to the website and there seems to be lots of stands. rimfire4969
I went about 4 or 5 years ago and have not been back. When I was there there was hardly any shooting gear and no guns for sale or on show at all.

flycoy
Arm3000gt Hi the main hall is on 2 levels with stands downstairs selling gear, Tidepool is normally there and decoy suppliers. its not a massive show and can be a bit cold so good that a lot of it is indoors. upstairs in the hall will be Chris Green and basc simulator. the Basc coaching line is there so pop down and say hello, i will be there coaching Sunday. hope you enjoy the first gamefair of the year! arm3000gt
Well I quite enjoyed it. Bit of a trek from Newbury but all in all quite enjoyable. I quite liked the wildfowling talk by Chris Green and found it informative as I know nothing about wildfowling. Quite a few trade stands. The wife bought a couple of things that she thought was good value. I could have spent a fortune on various foods, from cheese, fudge to crocodile burgers. I never tried any of the shooting stands but there were plenty of people who were. The dog shows, gun dog scurries etc were enjoyable too despite the cold wind. I could see if you regularly go to events like this but bigger you may be disappointed. For £11 (advance ticket) I couldn't fault it. ShootingEgg
Had a good few hours there, shame the wind was a bit chilly... Only thing that annoyed me was dog owners with no control of their dogs. I took mine and kept him close to heal and if i stopped he sat.. Some people had 3-5 dogs with them and simply didn't bother having any control. *Rant over* Edited March 20, 2016 by ShootingEgg

It took some scrubbing. Don't really know what this had to do with the topic, but now I look back I thought it was kinda funny
