mick miller
Rest in peace Paul, you entertained many of us as children and adults, I hope you have gone to a 'magical' place.

keg
Worked with him for a day when i was at Sony, he was helping to make a training video for us on a very snowy day. Absolute gent, and only wanted a new TV & VCR rather than being paid.

Dekers
He lived on the banks of the Thames in Wargrave, he was a well known character in the area along with wife Debbie and we saw them many a time in their garden over the years as we passed in my boat.Anyones passing is sad. bruno22rf
Anyone's passing is sad, I agree, but come on....soon as he appeared on most peoples screen he disappeared at the touch of a button - now THAT felt like magic.
amateur
My wife and I saw him live at a firm's Christmas "do" before he became famous on TV. His live magic was very impressive, but his hypnotism skills, applied to one of my more sceptical colleagues, were even better. The guy just could not explain later how Paul Daniels had managed to get him to do the daft stuff that he had been "made" to do. So although his patter was irritating, his technical skills looked pretty good to me.
