Another knockers thread

So I've searched the forum and narrowed my choice down to the three binoculars pictured, rather than everyone saying how good they are etc, has anyone got any negative feedback that might sway me one way or the other. At the moment I've only heard good things so will probably just go the cheapest option. Cheers

I have been using the opticrons for around 7 years. Dragged through the mud, drove off with them on the car roof, put them in bowls of water to wash the mud off. Been out most the winter for the last 7 years but also spent 7 days left in the feild in all that heavy rain we had not long back. Still working like new.

For customer service I would definitely recommend Bushnell - they have a no question lifetime warranty. I had no idea about this until I dropped a pair of their binos from height onto a stone tile floor and the bridge between the tubes cracked. I phoned Bushell UK to see if they could be repaired. I was expecting to be told "no", or least charged a hefty whack to do it. Despite the fact the product was not at fault just damaged through clumsiness (which I told them), was well out of a normal warranty period and I had no proof of purchase they told me to send them in under warranty.

They went off to their European service centre in Germany but unfortunately they couldn't be repaired. They sent me a brand new higher spec pair, completely FOC, all within about 2 weeks of the first phone call. I've used them frequently (daily recently) in the 5 years since, in all sorts of weather and the quality is fantastic. I'd love a pair of Zeiss or Swaros but I'm not convinced my old eyes would notice enough difference to justify the expense.

I've no knowledge of Hawke or Opticron, and I'm sure they are very good, but I can unreservedly recommend Bushell on quality and customer service.
