I have had one of these fleeces for about 17 years and its had some hammer/use. Well now the zip has broken I am not happy as up to now its given good service.

Should I complain to the manufacturer or bite the bullet and buy a new one?

The problem is I want one as good as this one as its very warm, do they come in differnt "thickness's" or weaves whatever?

I cant look at whats on mine as its mostly worn off.

Advice please.

Regards

H

I'd get BASC or SACS on the case, only 17 years, that is totally unacceptable shoddy goods you have there, under the sale of good act you should be covered with an "as new" no quibble replacement..... kind of like a fleece for life. Question is, who has fleeced who?

I am glad there is not only me that thinks that :good: Dont you just hate it when good stuff packs up, its just not on

I have sent berghaus a complaint just for the laugh anyway  I was upset though as its been really good.

Replace the zip!

Good idea, could do I suppose?

If I was berghaus and received that email saying you've had it 17 years and the zip had broke, I'd think it's brilliant and tell you to send it to us,we will repair it and I'd chuck some goodies in on its way back to you.

They only work Mon - Friday so I will have to wait for their response. :good:
