Jimmymature
Hi all, if you were going to get a dozen crow decoys what would you get? 1. Full bodied? 2. Shell I'm thinking full bodied as you can use them in their own pattern part of a pigeon pattern or used as sentries. Opinions are greatly appreciated. steve_b_wales
I use both with good effect. Full bodied are good to sit on fence posts.
bluesj
I would go with the full body one as they are more versatile. I use both plus fuds and some made from bin liners.
Caravanman
I used full body and rag decoys for ages but I have just got 8 crow shells from Decathlon for less than £3 each. Used them both on Sunday morning to go effect.
oldypigeonpopper
hello, i use 2 full body and 6 shell both flocked and just making 4 from online DIY coat hanger jobbies , with spray grey undercoat and decide if matt/gloss paint best, paint and masking tape from £ shop, total cost £
WelshMike
Full bodied out of the options are the best in my opinion. I have about 20 that I use and it seems to do the trick. Rag decoys are ok but need the right amount of wind as well as soft ground.
robbiep
I use rag decoys, generally, and find them very effective.
