peter-peter
Nice work peter, do you fancy doing a remington next Cheers paul WHAAAAAAT! well done the gun looks great, go and buy yourself a drink, you've earned it. Many thanks I have done a fair bit of furniture restoration in the past, but this was daunting due to the curves and chequering. but the pleasure comes when you oil it for the first time and the grain comes out. PS I MUST ADD. the forestock was a piece of cake due to a little tip from PW. cutting the bristles half way down on a tooth brush. super tool for getting into the hatching. I just used a uncut toothbrush on the stock cheque and it took twice as long to do.
Oly
Looks scary, but came up great...credit where it's due...fantastic job Peter! Have learnt a fair bit though and it doesn't sound too tricky so long as you have patience & care.

Bagsy
Nice. Excellent tip for the toothbrush, sometimes we just never see the most obvious and simple ways of doing things, I'd never of thought of that!
