Blundy
Hi Recently bought used armsan been out with it 3 times so figured I'd strip and clean it . Upon re assembling it the barrel won't fully click back into place gap bout 15 mm , now I can't move barrel either way and don't want to break anything . Feel such a idiot but hopefully someone has one and knows what I've done or even better live near Sheffield so I can let you take a look for me lol
TDS
Did you have the bolt pulled back before installing the barrel ?

EMT
Is the piston shroud on the barrel clear of the end cap on the magazine? Edited October 31, 2016 by EMT
TDS
I would just press the release button and let the bolt fly forward...should jar the barrel free Then start again putting it back together slowly As you say you bought it used , you may not have a manual...one here http://www.armsan.com/assets/docs/manuals/ARMSAN2012EN.pdf As an afterthought ,Is the gas piston on the right way round ? TDS
Did you remove the trigger group when cleaning ? Does the bolt move and lock back ? Failing that , i am lost Edited October 31, 2016 by TDS
Longman
My 612s does the same sometimes.. when putting the barrel on you need to move the bolt back other wise the barrel catches on the gun body. With the stock on the floor push the bolt down with the palm of your hand while trying to pull the barrel back out..

walt1980
I had one from new and it did it first time I cleaned it. All about timing of lowering the barrel down into the action and pulling the bolt back. When mine got stuck it need a bit of a wollop with a wooden mallet on the bolt handle to free it off. Was fine after that tho, just pull the bolt back as you slide the barrel down and it should be ok.

Davyo
Everyone who buys one gets caught out, there is a special knack to it.The trick is not to force it allowing the barrel to push the receiver back. You have to move the receiver back (but not forcing it with the barrel)but only half way to the same point you pull it when you are removing the receiver handle.
