I think Kenneth Williams was more suited to The Navy Lark. He was hilarious in that and some of the Hancock's Half Hour sketches.

keg
Trumpton, Chigley and Camberwick Green were my favourites as a child. The little girl in Bagpuss (Emily) was the daughter of one of the makers. I have a whole playlist of childrens TV themes, reminds me of siting on my dad's knee watching them. Black Beauty, Rupert the Bear etc.
