Dasher
Having had a shoulder operation last year I find my 12g O/U too heavy and harsh on recoil, I have seen a 20 gauge Browning “B80” Semi-Auto local to me and was wondering what the lightest load cartridge it will cycle? Anything I should be concerned with over this model of gun or should I view something else with a sub £500 budget ? Regards Dasher
Paul1440
Bssically they are a Beretta. Similar to the 302 and 303. Even the parts interchange. You will even find the beretta logo stamped on the barrel. One of the most reliable auto"s out there. Don't know about the lightest load but if you google the b80 or beretta 302 owners manual it should be in there. steve d
Winchester SX3? With the new SX4's out soon I would guess there will be a few for sale soon as lots of people need to have the latest version! Granted, theyre 12G but i'm 9 stone wet through and can shoot a gas operated semi all day long
BrowningDJC
My dad shoots a b80 20 bore due to his back and loves it. It cycles 24 gram clay loads all day with no recoil. Brilliant quality gun, as said they are Beretta based so no speed load.
Dasher
Thanks for the replies. What is the spares situation like, I'm guessing reasonable if their based on Beretta.
sishyplops
391 be a better choice as has compensating valve, I have a 303 deluxe field that has a B80 barrel on it and is invector choked fantastic gun in 12g, but for lighter loads I would go 390/391 the 391 urika is superb
sishyplops
Thanks for the replies. What is the spares situation like, I'm guessing reasonable if their based on Beretta. The only bits that won't fit are forend, and chokes but in all honesty I would go beretta version if I was buying one , but as previously posted the 391 is better at lighter loads

TDS
You will not get a softer shooter than a Remington ...in 1100 or 1187 versions
figgy
Your best trying as many as you can, what one person feels is no recoil others will find harsh.
