lister1
We're thinking of dropping sky, the first year we payed about £45 a month for family package and internet. The first years is now up and they want £75 a month.
AVB
If you cancel your sky contract do the 'Freeview' channels still work via the sky box. Or does everything shut off? I just don't want to have to install tv cable in rooms where I have satellite only at the moment. Thanks.
shaun4860
You keep the freebies but lose the record facility

White Rabbit
Never mind Trumps immigration ban. The big news is Sky are keeping Discovery!! A deal has been done. They couldn't afford not to. WR
stevo_m
Wonder how many have left already though! I'm in my noticed period at the moment. BT box arrives on Friday so I'll see if I like it. I've saved so much cash by changing so I'm not looking back!
Billy.
In my opinion I'm glad they're going. Discovery used to be about science and learning. Mythbusters was the last decent show which actually had a grain of intelligence. Now all the channels which are due the chop are awful programs with false jeopardy and edited in a way to mislead the audience.
bazzab
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/changes-to-sky-channels Discovery etc is staying by the looks of it.....
