pauldr
was thinking of putting it in my bedroom in a corner, both walls are exterior walls but am i right in thinking that when it says the cabinet carnt be fitted on a exterior wall it means outside.. cheers Paul
Simon1
It just means don't fix to a flimsy wall, that's all
Scully
Sounds peculiar; all my cabinets are fitted to an exterior wall.

oowee
I have mine in the bedroom. Big down side is waking the wife when I get back late after a night on the foxes.
HDAV
Supposed to be fixed to a solid (structural wall) rather than a partition wall. In a corner not on the ground flirt is about as good as it gets really.
manthing
Mines in the corner in the spare bedroom bolted to a brick nib. You sure you've read it right regarding the "not on an exterior wall" bit?
Benkent
You can put in corner of room bolted to a concrete floor if you have a suitable place. Us with new builds have flimsy walls lol.
Pigeon Shredder.
Not again, this has been done to death. Wall/solid/inside house. Wall/brick/inside house. Floor solid/inside house, mind the water pipes mind. Cabinet to be secure/inside house. Let's wait for the next Where can I fit my cabinet issue, let common sense prevail. Dougy
Upstairs can be a pain if other folk are in the house, specially if you get in late. Downstairs would be my choice, in a cupboard under the stairs, out of sight. That is of course if you live in a house and not a bungalow. PS, You can always just move on, ;-)

To be fair though the lad was confused what side of the exterior wall the cabinet gets bolted too. Edited February 16, 2017 by Davyo
