Guest Mr Pieman
How many of the guns on the list belong to Red/Deadeye? Which ones do you actually own yourselves? Which ones could you legally sell if you wished? Bet that shortens the lists :yp: :yp:  PP

The Sniper
Elma, Just out of interest what have you done to the stock of the 30.06 ? It looks deformed to me. Plus why choose the Remi Police ??....faster twist..stabilize bigger bullets ?? Nice collection mate.
Elma Fud
Sniper The 30.06 I share with a friend. He needed to add a cheek piece to raise the comb. I got the rifle on my certificate so that I can take it to Namibia next year. As for the Remmi. I had heard great reports about this rifle. Its handling is superb, but after a day stalking in the woods it does give me some back ache My best shot with the rifle was killing a crow at 226 metres (Laser rangerfinders) when I was in Scotland Roe stalking. The Sniper
Elma , Thanks for the reply. I will be thinking about a PSS when my VSSF 223 is worn out. I fancy trying some heavier bullets to buck the wind at longer distances. As you say though, hell of a rifle, especially with handloads, but heavy. Dare I mention my furthest rabbit with the 223, or have you all heard the story by now ?
deadeyedick
Elma, That 30.06 will be perfect for Africa. I use one myself when going out there - bring down anything up to an Eland!
deadeyedick
however it looks like it has a very short barrel?? How straight does it shoot?
dead-eye-dick
however it looks like it has a very short barrel?? How straight does it shoot? Elma Fud :- Best shot was killing a crow at 226 meters, while stalking in scotland  If you stand 226 meters away, in a crow suit, maybe you'll find out.
