pigeonblasterian
Farmer told me pigeons had been at his rape.I had told him plenty of times to ring me if any pigeons on but he never did.If he had i think i could have stopped it getting as bad as this.Anyway he rang me at the weekend and said he had taken the banger gun off and if i wanted a go at the pigeons there were a few about. So i had a couple of recces and me and Stuart went today and had a steady day pigeon shooting. There was a couple of showers during the day but they were not too bad and it was warm enough that nothing stayed wet for long.We ended up with 72 pigeons and 1 rook picked. JDog
A very good team effort. By the look of that rape the farmer should have called you earlier.
pigeon controller
Well done, great result. Is it reseeded or over wintered?
pigeonblasterian
It is over wintered rape and just as bad all way along the trees at the bottom of the field.Should be good for another couple of days there before it is swathed. motty
A good result. I doubt you could have helped the farmer too much before - the field looks poorly established, rather than damaged by pigeons.
