Shotguneddy
I work outside and have been seeing a pair of ravens. Which have obviously been breading nearby and flying about us for months now, anyway I no of some shooters on that pern who've just started shooting corvids so nay not no if it was jackdaw took or Crow and I saw this poor raven hopping and flapping trying to fly about and it had all dry blood and wounds on leg and upper chest, to me as I do a lot of corvid control most weeks looked like it wds shot can't blame anyone without proof or could of been a bird of prey but ravens usualy the ones doing the chasing, tried to get closer and it hobbled threw the overgrown wilderness, a shame and horrible to see, thanks
Hendrix's rifle
If it's any help I have seen raptors turn on corvids chasing them many many times, they usually spin round behind them and take them down. Good possibility

panoma1
As a shooter you could employ the "benefit of the doubt" position!......the bunnyhuggers and bird protectionists are only too quick to blame anything found dead on illegal shooting............we don't need our own jumping to unsubstantiated conclusions do we? It may well have got clipped by a car whilst investigating roadkill or suffered any number of other unfortunate accidents!
