July 1st No Smoking Law

Being an AA member I get their email/newsletter.

In this months it is reminding all Company vehicle drivers, that they are not permitted to smoke in their vehicles, from 1st July.

I didn't realise that company cars, vans and lorries, were being classified as a "workplace".

This might catch a few people out.

We have been issued with No Smoking stickers to display in our company cars, but I have no idea how the Police are going to check if you are a company car driver or not if seen smoking in your car.

All a bit far fetched I think and Im a Non smoker :good:

Cheers

Any chance of standing on your doorstep if it rains. I could then use the letterbox as an ash-tray.?
