ShootingEgg
Whilst checking the pheasants last night i made my way to some feeders that id not checked for a while, getting close to one and u could smell a rotting stench. On further inspection i found one of the two 6 point bucks I had left for the rut and rest of the season to serve the does. Unfortuntely its gone to far to know cause of death
Dougy
If you really wanted to do you could do a Doogie Howser MD and check for skeletal damage. Check to see if any of the bones show signs of ballistic fractures.
greenshank1
If they are both close to the feeders they may gorged on the feed and bloated.
ShootingEgg
If they are both close to the feeders they may gorged on the feed and bloated. Both feeders were blocked and no sign of feed loss. We do get issues with dogs being run at night from local sites. So possibly injured from that. Shame though as was a fine looking beast this year. oldypigeonpopper
hello, there was a police report in the thames valley recently that a lot of farmers were reporting an increase in deer poaching at night with dogs, cannot find a link on the helecopter video which was shown on the local news, 1 farmer had this 7 times in 1 month and they also ruined the crops driving across the fields. maybe get on your local police crime alert country watch team where they send a txt like TVP
