dipper
I've never used steel shot cartridges only used t/m..A mate gave me his stock of non toxic about 50 all loose. Most of them were Bornaghi 36g steel 2 2 3/4".Also some Gamebore 32g Impact containing steel and tungsten metric . As enyone used them .Cant see the point in mixing steel with t/m .Going to use them in miruko mk 38 with open chokes screwed in. I was never very keen on useing steel.Dipper

Ttfjlc
I'm sure gamebore have changed their site recently, the only tungsten iron I can see now are TMX....
Ttfjlc
I knew what cartridge dipper was on about but couldn't remember the name of it, a bit of help from Google reveals it was called 'Impact Multi-shot'. If you read the last paragraph for gamebore it tells you a little bit of it but the article is years old and I can't find it anymore on gamebore's website. motty
I still wouldn't buy any. Steel is plenty good enough for ducks. I don't really see the value in mixing the two.

Gamebore more than likely agreed with you motty as I reckon they're not made for this country anymore.

dipper
I'm sure gamebore have changed their site recently, the only tungsten iron I can see now are TMX.... Seems a bit confusing some of these cartridges are made with a blend of tungsten and iron mixed together to make the shot .Those I have are 60percent no 4 steel shot and 40 percent of no5 tungsten a duplex load Dipper. grahamch
Looks like will have to try steel for duck this season as my itm and hevishot stocks are almost gone. Tis a shame we dont get the choice of non lead, non steel loads that are available in the US and Canada.
