JDog
When I got back in this afternoon this is the sight that greeted me over the garden wall. From my recent trip to the Borders, this is the famous Chain Bridge. I am in England and Jasper is in Scotland.

It is a spectacular bridge which you know much better than I. No fish were running but the seals and cormorants were.

JohnfromUK
Nice photos. The colours were exceptional here last year. So much depends on not having too much wind as the leaves are turning colour and this year windy times meant that the leaves fell before the full colours developed and it didn't quite match up to last year. tetlee
Looking at those lovely Autumn colours reminded me of some 'photos of a local country road in it's seasonal dress. All change.

Blackpowder
Me too. It is a spectacular bridge which you know much better than I. No fish were running but the seals and cormorants were. I had a day on Thursday by ghillie invite on the beat on the Scots side of Chainy about a mile upstream, river was in first class order and I fished the top of the tide but saw nothing nor caught nothing, nice day to be out with the Borders looking good in autumn dress. figgy
Lovely colours, one last flush of colour to put a smile on your face before the bland starkness of winter.
