ferguson_tom
The Mazda and Ranger came off the same production line, you may find a bigger selection if you look for rangers as well. They are a pretty simple no-frills piece of kit and generally pretty reliable old work horses.

I daresay they are decent vehicles, but a very marmite design IMO... I can't make up my mind about them. But - for a 'budget' brand to come in and offer big boy 3.5t tow capacity Mitsubishi will need to pay attention.

Saltings
bought a b2500 52 plate with 118k on it now 206k done head gasket as road salt had perforated the alloy rad had not noticed the drop in water level my fault does not use oil or water serviced every 5k changed gear oil in gear box to arf fluid cant fault it use it for work, lamping and decoying about 28 mpg don't matter how you drive it , clean up front ,all shooting bits/dogs in the back would not hesitate in buying another one even of the same age if well looked after when looking to buy I found the ford ranger 1k dearer than the b2500 as they are the same vehicle rebadged to a ford Edited November 18, 2017 by Saltings
