Scully
An engineer called today and fixed a magic box to the outside of our house. ? Another is calling tomorrow to fix another magic box inside. ?

Scully
Engineer didn’t turn up. OH had taken the day off work. No phone call, no apology, nothing. When OH tried to call she got an answering machine to say that the operative finished at four but a note would be left and someone would call later in the evening. No one called. Scully
Spoke to someone from BT last night and they said there was no engineer allocated to come to our house yesterday, and that they couldn’t understand why we had been told this as according to the info they had we were allocated to be connected on the 12th. On getting home tonight received a SMS text message to say that due to a ‘build problem’ they would be unable to connect on the 12th, followed by reassurance that everything was being done to resolve the problem. The message ended with an automated apology. Edited December 7, 2017 by Scully Who cares?
GingerCat
When a company has no competition this sort of behaviour occurs. I can't stand bt but that is all I can' get. How I miss virgin media who for 10 years had only 3 faults and both fixed within 24 hours
Scully
Engineer ( whom OH recognised from school ) arrived yesterday and told OH he was there to fit our ‘hub’ to the exterior of the property. OH points at ‘hub’ on wall and says we already have one. Oh, says engineer. OH tells him that we had been told there was a fault on our line. THIS engineer and his mate investigated and said the line is fine. BT spokeswoman phoned tonight and totally ignored OH pointing out that the reason for the delay ( fault in our line ) was in fact not true, and instead simply repeated that ‘phase one was now complete’ and finished by telling us that we would be connected on the 7th January. Did I mention OH thinks I’m a cynic?

100milesaway
Come on now lads, I don't feel sorry for you at all..... Firstly never buy a book when there's a library in town. Secondly if you must attach yourself perminantly to something make sure it contributes 50/50. If the gals are contributing financially then they also wont want to be wasteful. Easy peasy... from Auntie. Edited December 16, 2017 by 100milesaway
