rayo
Morning All Can anyone please point me in the right direction on how to repair a 2 inch split in my Hunter neoprene wellington. Would a bike puncture patch do the trick? Thanks in advance

WinchesterDave
My dad's Harkila Forester zip wellies split about an inch on the seam between the top and side of the foot (after using them for just over a season I want to add!) I used a thin bike patch And bike patch glue for our last day shooting... it seemed to work until walking across a very water logged spud field when it split apart slightly. Ive just put a much bigger patch on it now and itll do for general walks etc. But for shooting he is going to use his new ones. Simple answer - yes a bike patch will help short term in an emergency but don't fully rely on it. His feet werent wet either before it started to split away. Dave Edit - quick photos of what im describing for you mate Edited February 23, 2018 by WinchesterDave
scouser
Had a small spilt in mine ,squeezed it open ,superglued it,then a patch of gorilla tape over the split, still ok 12months later
Walker570
Fishing shop and ask for wader repair kit. I think my waders have more repair material than wader now but don't leak.
strimmer_13
You could try a glue I used for my wetsuits called 'black witch'. About a fiver, got hammered pretty good and didn't come apart. Maybe a option but think walker above is right
