Scope mounted lamp - glare off mod..?

I’ve a torch similar to the nightmaster and whenever I fit it to the scope,(I try as far forward as possible) it reflects off the mod. Is there any tips to avoid this? Cheers!

Try some insulation tape (electrical stuff?) over the bottom half of the lamp lense.

I use some bicycle inner tube over the mod and down the barrel.

A sunshade on the scope works for me.

The halo effect from torches is an age old problem.  Can you get it further back and closer to the scope?...to put the mod in the shade of the scope objective. ‘s what I do with the nv scopes. 

Edenman’s insulating tape across the bottom of the lens is the classic solution....easily tested by using a finger or two beforehand.

As above, mount it as far back as possible.

Tried most suggestions and as the previous posters say getting it mounted low and back ,so that the objective bell casts a shadow on the mod ,is the only effective answer I`ve found.
