Alex1Nat2
Evening all, i have a Terrano which I plan to use purely as a shooting truck. i don’t plan on doing any serious off roading but want some tyres that will be ok for green lanes, across stubble fields & headlands etc. any recommendations please? steve
B391
I would put on All Terrain tyres. you wont need MUd Terrain. All terrain are the best for lanes, roads and soft off road into fields a and such as long as it is not deep gllopy mud you will be OK. BF Goodrich are market leaders, I would recommend Cooper AT3's. Everyone who goes off road will have an opion and not all agreed. Just go for a quality manudacturer and you wont gp wrong. This is just one review - http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2017-Drive-Out-Off-Road-4x4-Tyre-Test.htm and this http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Cooper/Discoverer--AT3-Sport.htm Edited May 26, 2018 by B391
steve_b_wales
I use General Grabbers A/T 2's on my Freelander. They are good on road (95% of my driving) and off road as well.
Stonepark
Yokahamma Geolanders AT on my Duster but if not doing a lot of mileage , nothing wring with mud tyres and they do make a big difference in arable fields/muddy entrances.
johnnytheboy
If your in luck to have wheels the same size as the navara you might be able to pick up really good tyres cheap, with the chassis snapping on them there is a huge amount of surplus parts knocking about! robbiep
Any of the tyres already mentioned will do very well in off-road use.
